Kops Records is the oldest independent music store in Toronto, founded in 1976.
Kops Has the largest selection of 45rpm records in Canada. The abundant isles and walls of vinyl on both floors are an attraction to both tourists and local music enthusiasts. Meet the owner Owner: Martin Koppel began his business in the '70s when he came over from England buying and trading records out of parking lots. Eventually, his collection became too large and he opened a store on Queen.
